My 2020 Outback XT never had an eyesight issue over the 3 years I leased it.The plaintiff was identified as Joy Diane Shuey who experienced problems with her 2015 Subaru Forester. She had to take the car back to the dealer after getting a check engine light warning and smelling fuel odor. During the inspection, the technician allegedly discovered that the car’s rear wiper and fuel line had already been chewed by rats.Same problem exists with a rattle/vibrating noise within the eyesight system, so it appears this fault hasn't be fixed in new models. Dealer said it was a known issue and said the solution was to place some insulation tape around wiring within the eyesight system. It has reduced the occurrence but it still exists. Like.
