There are at least three problems here. Firstly, in the UK it is illegal to advertise prices without tax - as a US site I assume they get away with that. Secondly they are deliberately imitating the site of the hotel to hoodwink buyers that they are booking directly. Lastly they have very poor customer service.As soon as I contacted the @hotel team, they looked into the matter and stayed constantly in touch with me with any progress. They eventually solved it and reimbursed me the amount that had mistakenly been charged. Aref was very attentive and explained all the steps in detail.
