Tagging along, I have a 43x that so far has zero malfunctions with 3 Shield mags, gen 3s. I have 4 PSA mags that should be here tomorrow. Hopefully they're as good and I can go back to the polymer mag catch and use OEM mags too. Or whatever, the Shields work. I was having similar issues with the Shield Arms Mags. Had two Gen 2 then bought a Gen 3; same issue. I replaced the recoil spring with a tungsten, light spring from Glock Store and so far, no issues after 100 rounds. I’ll follow up after my second trip to the range. Over the course of time the tabs on shield gen 3 will erode the mag interior IMO! Dirt and debris gets in opening as well. Additionally I have tried to Champer the leading edge as with Glock and PSA.
