So, I've had AT&T Fiber at my house for the past 3 years now and it's been the best internet provider I've ever had, up until the past month or so. In the past month I can watch the speeds from my router drop from a consistent 600 mbps, 10-12ms ping, to speeds as low as 5mbps, ping as high as 500, and packet loss of up to 40%!!!!
Packet loss after this point is 0%, and there is no packet loss at my modem. Everything is happening on hop #2 going into that ATT spot near Dallas. Been monitoring this with winmtr and it is a consistent 50% packet loss at that point for the last 30 minutes and when it spikes the packet loss hits 100% at that point and latency will …About 1% loss rate over 5mins averaged even on the local interface. If I run a download from Steam, I get a LOT of packet loss on ipv4, and only some on ipv6. If I download a file from somewhere like Backblaze B2 which is all ipv6, zero packet loss anywhere

Packet Loss to DNS servers >40%. -I have a BOVPN and it is going up and down due to the packet loss .. unstable at best. Very High Latency/Packet Loss evening hours. Try to call ATT support but they had no solutions. Every evening 6:30PM till around 11PM my fiber service experiences very high latency and packet loss making the internet service very unreliable. Not sure how to proceed with getting escalated support.
