I just performed a test on my own Kia Soul, (full spec's in my signature line) and here's what I found. At a cold start, my idling RPM was at 1300. After a brief warm up, that dropped to ~1000 RPM. Putting the AT in Drive, resulted in a drop to ~790 RPM. Turning on the AC, resulted in another drop, to ~750 RPM.
