The 6000 I have has been a very good tractor. Yes the pump was juiced up, and it does have a nicer seat than the factory. I did install hydrostatic steering, but over all it is one stronger puller. Jul 20, 2015 · My Ford 6600 is used for cutting and baling hay. I was cutting yesterday and took a five minute break and when I got back in the tractor, the PTO did not want to engage. It finally did, but it seemed balky. Once engaged, it worked perfectly. Is this an adjustment problem in the lever or could it be a sign of something more serious?
